The challenge
Cyolo was a growing startup with limited marketing resources and more content demand than it could meet. Its people knew IT and OT security deeply, but turning that expertise into content for buyers took time they didn't have.
Time was short. The company had to show investors a return, and soon. That meant a fast increase in content to support sales, and it wasn't something a small team could do alone.
What I did
I set up the work as one program serving three teams at once (content marketing, product marketing and demand generation). Working closely with each let us pick up new use cases almost as they came up.
We were the only content provider. When the company shifted focus or added a use case, the content shifted with it. I kept the plan loose enough that those pivots didn't stall production.
The output ran from white papers, ebooks and buyer's guides to case studies, blogs, social graphics and infographics. It's work that also had to carry Cyolo's brand voice and story, which we developed alongside their team.
Results
In nine months my team created more than 94 assets. They supported product marketing, content and demand generation.
The assets also carried Cyolo through its transition to new branding and messaging. Cyolo's head of content said the partnership built a library of content and helped shape the brand's voice and story.
Over the past year, the team has not only helped us to build an impressive library of content, but they’ve also worked alongside us to develop our brand voice and story.
